"Can you fit in a full-service salon in a 450 sq. feet space?" 🤔A prospect approached me with this request in 2019. I asked myself, "Is it going to be easy to fulfil this request"?"Definitely not, but it's going to be fulfilingly challenging."With solid enthusiasm and a curated plan, my team and I took up this project. Below are my client's specific requirements and how we fulfilled them: 🎯 Client’s request #1:The salon should have a calming lounge vibe. ⚡️ Here's what we did:We designed the salon with a reverberating rustic vibe. To achieve this, we used raw bricks to give the feeling of an unplastered wall. Soft, calming colors were intentionally integrated into treatment rooms for manicures, pedicures, and facials. Not just that, we also used hanging and track spot lights to extend the rustic theme. 🎯 Client request #2:It's a unisex salon; customers should still have privacy. ⚡️Here's what we did:We installed movable opaque screens between male and female treatment stations. This not only lent them 100% privacy but also allowed them to relax without being bothered by the intrusion. 🎯 Client request #3:Assign an exclusive space for each beauty treatment. ⚡️ Here's what we did:Although we had only 450 sq. ft of space, we strategically used every corner and assigned an exclusive area for each service.
