Who is the killer in Scream 6? ›

Scream 6 introduced five killers, the most in any Scream film, who were not working together. Their identities were revealed early on, breaking convention. Detective Bailey, Quinn Bailey, and Ethan Landry were revealed as the killers at the end of Scream 6. Their motive was revenge for Detective Bailey's son's death.

Among Ghostface's victims was Anika, Mindy's girlfriend and friend of the group, whose Scream 6 death is even worse and sadder when it's revealed that she was killed by someone she trusted.

To make the impact effective, the film needed to sacrifice its legacy character, who died in the line of duty facing Ghostface, which circles back to Dewey's role since 1996's Scream. Scream also showed that anyone could die to challenge the implications of the central characters being immortal to Ghostface.

Horror film fanatics rejoice: Neve Campbell is coming back to the "Scream" franchise. On Tuesday, Campbell posted a picture to her verified Instagram showing the title page of a script for an "Untitled Scream 7" film, writing in the caption, "Sidney Prescott is coming back!"

The film has now, without a shadow of a doubt, confirmed that Stu is believed to be dead in-universe. That means the only way he could be alive is to have faked his death and be hidden away. Now, Scream certainly has soap opera sensibilities, but come on.
