After hiding out in Georgia, he broke away while in handcuffs, they removed the leg restraints to escort him down the steps and at that point he pushed past them. Retired Atlanta police Detective Vince velasquez said he escorted murder suspects on airline flights from out of state And would have taken a different approach. I would have assisted this, this suspect in leg shackles down the stairs and there's a way to do it to walk down sideways. The 14 hour manhunt ended with a takedown on Camp Creek Parkway in College Park where deputies found him hiding out in the woods. South Carolina Highway Patrol is still investigating the crash no other details have been released surrounding what led to the crash itself.
